What is Art?

Art is the process and result of the expression of feelings and emotions. It is an important part of human culture in general and of culture of the nation.
Art is always based on creativeness and expresses all people's impressions and emotions in different ways.
It is also a creative expression of reality with the help of artistic means. Art sees a person using all sense organs.
"What can be named arts?" - This is a very complicated question. And the answer is very subjective. Not every work can be called an artwork. It must be something of great quality, the most interesting and capable to change the consciousness of people.
The main aim of art is to provoke special sensations and to transmit special emotions and feelings to other people. It seems to be unreal that some images, lines, pictures, songs, etc. may make you feel something special and cause sensation of joy, love, sorrow, pain etc. Sometimes art can make you cry, laugh, love etc. It gives an opportunity to feel all the possible emotions just listening to something or watching something.
A lot of scientists give their own definitions of arts. Metaphysicians consider art to be the manifestation of some mystical ideas and the beauty of God. Aesthetics-physicians consider it to be the game where people express the surplus of their energy and the expression of emotions with the help of external signs.
There are a lot of definitions of art and the artworks, and all of them are based on the same principle – emotions and feelings.
As a rule real geniuses become famous only after their death. They receive recognition and are honoured and their masterpieces are remembered and cost a lot of money. But they lived in poverty, misunderstood by the society.
During the whole history people try to invent special characteristics and rules for art. But real art doesn't have rules and measures. It is endless.
Art is the blessing of humanity and it enriches our culture and our mind. During the history art invented a lot of genres that have become popular. Even now new genres appear and become more and more interesting.
For the first time this term was used in Ancient Greece and Roman Empire. At first people communicated with the help of art and only later when some time passed, art lost its communicative significance and turned into communication of feelings and emotions that sometimes can't be expressed with the help of words.
Art made it possible to transmit the culture, the history of the world. It has passed through the centuries and was given from generation to generation until the certain artwork found its place in museum or gallery and can be viewed or listened by any person.
Art is important part in life of every person. Some people say that they don't like art. But it is impossible. They may not like the classical arts and artworks but they love art. Music they listen every day, photos they see, designs they have in their apartments, etc. These all are genres of art and they are present everywhere.
